The forgoten city

The forgotten city (Presevo - Preshevë)
In the shadow of the Karadak mountians there is Presheva, the place that is forgoten by everone, hoping that god will not forget it, Even though it is like a triangular natural border between Kosovo, Macedonia and Sebia it does not feel included n any of these countries. As a simbolic gesture Idecided to make this project to help as much as i can in the recognition of my small but historical town. I decided to make this project by drawing three very important objects that each tell a story of their own.
                                        Municipality of Presheva
In the center of Presheva there is an object whose image is the symbol of Presheva, it is the object of the municipality. The  object of the municipality of Presheva is located in the center of the city and dates back to 1880. The municipality building is a social object which was once the administrative and political center of the town of Presheva, until 1947, when Presheva lost its central importance and the object remained the municipal administrative center. Later it served as a school center, where the classes of the Presheva primary school were located. Today it serves as a social, administrative and political facility of the municipality of Presheva, where the municipal administration, the municipal assembly and other administrative services of the municipal level are located.
                                            Old mosque Presheva
In front of the object of the municipality of Presheva there is another object that represents our town commonly known as the old mosque. The mosque of Ibrahim Pasha is the oldest object in Preshevë that survived the times . It was built in 1678 by Ibrahim Pash Bushati from Shkodra, who during the Ottoman Empire was the ruler of most of the region of todays Albania. As a fact of the antiquity of this the object at the entrance of the mosque,  on the wall above the entrance doors, there is an old plaque with an inscription from the time of its construction, the writing is in the Ottoman language and there the year 1678 is mentioned as the construction of this object with great cultural and historical values.
                                                UÇPMB plaque
In front of the municipal facility, a memorial plaque was once placed for the fallen soldiers of the glorious war of the UÇPMB, but due to incorrect political relations between the racist national government and the weak municipal government, that plaque did not last longer than three months. The plaque was a monument built in the middle of November 2012 in the center of Presheva in commemoration of the fallen soldiers of the UÇPMB. The memorial was forcibly removed by the Serbian army  on January 20, 2013. Even though the plaque was short-lived, it shows that the fallen soldiers of the UÇPMB war are never forgotten from the memories and hearts of the preshevar people.
